The final workshop of a European Union joint project titled "Educational Development for Sustainable and Eco-friendly Cork Composites in Aerospace Applications," which involves five countries (Turkey, Portugal, Spain, Poland, and Lithuania) and is led by our department, took place on August 2-3, 2023, at the ESOGÜ Suat Mirza Conference Hall. In the workshop of the ECOCORK project, which has the slogan of "ECOCORK," our Department Chair Prof. Melih Cemal KUŞHAN and one of our faculty members, who is also the project leader, Assoc. Prof. Selim GÜRGEN, provided valuable presentations to participants about the content and outcomes of the project. Assoc. Prof. Alper Sofuoğlu's valuable contributions were also well received, and participants had the opportunity to engage in direct communication with our professors to gain a more detailed understanding of the project.
