We participated in the XIIth National Aircraft, Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering Congress, which was held on October 13-14, 2023 with the contributions of TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Eskişehir Branch. A total of 5 papers contributed by the faculty members of our department took place in the congress, where original and national projects being developed in the aviation / space sector in our country, national engineering capabilities contributing to these projects, maintenance, repair, renewal, development activities of aircraft from the engineer's point of view and Aircraft, Aerospace Engineering education in Turkey were examined. Following the congress, on October 15, 2023, with the contributions of Eskişehir Tepebaşı Municipality and Eskişehir Branch of TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers, Dr. Emir ÖNGÜNER, the author of the book "I Decided to Build a Fighter Aircraft", which is a TÜBİTAK publication, gave a talk titled "Engineers and Academicians in the Dusty Pages of the Early Republican Period Aviation History" for the students of our department at Tepebaşı Municipality Vecihi Hürkuş Aviation and Technology Park. After the interview, the students of our department had the opportunity to express their wishes and thanks by attending the breakfast attended by Mr. Ahmet ATAÇ, Mayor of Eskişehir Tepebaşı Municipality.
