Our department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Selim GÜRGEN took part in the list of more than 100,000 top scientists published in the PLOS Biology Journal on 16 October 2021, where more than 100,000 top scientists and scientists in the top 2% of the world in their field were listed. In the list of the world's most influential scientists, a total of 11 faculty members from our university, together with our department faculty member, ranked in the top 2 percentile in their field.
