On November 9, 2022, a meeting was held with our department chair Prof. Melih Cemal Kuşhan, our vice-chairs Assoc. Prof. Işıl Yazar and Asst. Prof. Seyid Fehmi DİLTEMİZ and Finance Project Consultancy Officer Pelin Işık Çakar and Ümmühan Aşçı, a meeting was held with the Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Varank.
As a result of this meeting, it was decided to lay the foundation of our department and ESOGU Aviation Research and Training Center as soon as possible. The Minister announced that this project, in which the center and the department will be together, will be implemented as soon as possible.
