The first drone donation was made by Muharrem Aydemir, an entrepreneur from Eskişehir, to Hezarfen Aviation and Space Club, one of our Department Teams, and was received by our department chair Prof. Melih Cemal Kuşhan on behalf of the club. On behalf of our department, we would like to thank them and sincerely congratulate all entrepreneurs who provide this and similar support.
Hezarfen Aviation and Space Club
Hezarfen Aviation and Space Club, one of the most active clubs of Eskişehir Osmangazi University, was established in 2005 and started its active activities in 2008. Today, it continues its activities with a board of 6 members and more than 150 active members. Our training and project teams continue their work in our club room and workshop in our school.
It is the only club that carries out training, project and organization activities together in order to be a modern and innovative generation in the footsteps of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
One of our main goals is to gather students who love aviation under one roof, to contribute to Eskişehir becoming an aviation center, to add value to our university; to lead nationally with our research, projects and events. In our club, a round table layout is applied and an environment where everyone will have an equal say is prepared. Teams meet at certain time intervals, present their strategic decisions to the management and make the final decision in this way.
