Prof. Kürşad Melih GÜLEREN, faculty member of our department, will give a seminar titled "Introduction to ITU UHeM High Performance Computing Centre and Computational Fluid Dynamics Application" on 5 May 2023 at 10:30. All our students and anyone interested in the subject are invited to the seminar.
Today, supercomputers are used in many fields, especially in engineering. The places where supercomputers are installed and operated are called High Performance Computing (or Computing) Centres (HPC Centres). Taking part in national and international projects that require the use of supercomputers in both academia and industry can make a significant contribution to the careers of engineer candidates and young engineers. In this seminar, ITU UHeM, which is one of the two important HPC centres in our country, will be introduced and a small-scale sample fluid problem will be shown how to work in this centre.
