Abstract: In parallel with the development of technology, the environmental balance of our world is rapidly changing for the worse. The natural disasters we have experienced in recent years are the most important indicators of this. Because this rapid change is increasingly making its impact felt in every field from behavior patterns, living habits, work done to future plans, and unfortunately, the public is unable to see the approaching dangers. The green airport system aims to promote environmental best practices to minimize aviation's impact on the environment and certify airport members with outstanding achievements in environmental projects. By joining this initiative, airports can share their environmental projects with other airports in the region and have the chance to be recognized for their achievements. Because this system is crucial to mitigate climate change, which is the source of rapidly increasing environmental disasters.
